In order to organize the event with sufficient manpower and expertise, the core team is looking to expand. That is why the organization will hold an inspiration session on Wednesday 29 March at 7.30 pm in the Bali room of Hotel Thermen Bussloo. Then Ingrid de Croon, project leader Swim to Fight cancer Stedendriehoek, will talk about the origin of this event. Volunteer Joyce Langelaar talks about what it’s like to be a volunteer for the event. De Croon: ,,If we can supplement our team with three extra core team members, the event on September 10 can be guaranteed.”
With Swim to Fight Cancer, the Fight Cancer Foundation has been setting up a national event for years with the mission to realize a world in which cancer is no longer a deadly disease. This by collecting as much money as possible for KWF Cancer Control: participants can be sponsored for their participation.
