In order to provide daily drinking water without shortage, the ‘Amruth’ project, the initiation ceremony of the drinking water development project at the cost of 17.77 crore rupees, was held in Aarangad area yesterday.
Municipality Chairman Selvaraj and Deputy Chairman Balamurugan performed Bhoomi Puja and inaugurated the works. Municipal Commissioner Tamarai, Engineer Renuka, Pallipalayam City DMK, Secretary Kumar and many others were present.
