This is the first mass wedding conducted by the specialized family court of Ocotal, New Segovia. 17 couples of young people and adults, with children and without children, others with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, swore to always love and respect each other, before the judge Xochitl Cordobas.
Procedures, supported by the Ocotal mayor’s office in accordance with its powers, were totally free for the newlyweds, many of whom took the decision to take that step with him purpose to order their lives.
Each of the couples of spouses did not leave the Ocotal Judicial Complex without having received from the mayoress Xiomara Tercerothe judge Xochitl Cordobasthe doctor Joaquin Matute and comrade Maxwell Urcuyo, representing the Sandinista Front.
The ceremony ended with the delivery of a cake sponsored by the graduate Dilcia Gameropresident of the Oasis del Maestro rehabilitation center and a snack at couples and their witnesses and sponsors.
