  • Officer A1: includes Land, Sea and Air generals (59,387 euros), lieutenant generals (54,726), division generals (50,074), brigadier generals (45,275), colonels (41,697), lieutenant colonels (38,450), commanders (36,534) , captains (33,623), and lieutenants (30,082 euros).
  • Officer A2: there are ensigns (27,730 euros), senior non-commissioned officers (32,703), sub-lieutenants (they earn 30,703 euros, more than lieutenants since this rank is the highest a sergeant aspires to and they are usually seniors who accumulate three years), brigades (28,212), first sergeants (26,142) and sergeants (24,659 euros).
  • C1 official: there are senior leaders (21,807 euros), first leaders (20,356), leaders (18,870), and soldiers or sailors (17,838 euros).

Complements

Supplements are those that increase in consideration the salary of the military. Therefore, we find the following:

  • Employment supplement: corresponds to the function that is exercised within the Armed Forces. It can vary from 359 euros for a training soldier to 1,600 euros for a general.
  • Specific complement: it is divided into two parts: on the one hand, the general component that is perceived as a function of the occupation and, on the other, that which remunerates special conditions such as the responsibility or dangerousness of the professional activity.
  • Special dedication supplement: will reward extraordinary activities such as, for example, special missions.
  • Other add-ons: help for clothing, housing allowance, family allowances or bonus pensions are some of the remunerations that are added to the basic salary.
