Ancelotti recently said that Militão is the best defender in the world in his opinion. This Thursday, the coach was a little more restrained, but did not stop praising the Brazilian. The Spaniard cited several features that make the defender a great player and even joked about his appearance.
“For me, Militão is among the best in the world. He has everything, he’s very fast, very heavy in 1-on-1, very good with the ball at his feet, a great header. always 100% concentrated. You can’t say it’s perfect,” he said. “It’s not that pretty either,” added Ancelotti as he chuckled.

Regarding the match against Barcelona, the coach recalled the ability of opponents to play in different ways. In the last clash between the teams, for the first leg of the King’s Cup semifinal, the team led by Xavi took the lead in the first half and defended themselves for the rest of the game. Anyway, Ancelotti assured that Real Madrid will go on the attack.
“It’s very difficult to know how the game will be because everyone has their own story. In the Cup they defended because they were ahead of the scoreboard. Depending on what happens in the game, they can play one way or another. Tomorrow we will play on the attack, but without taking any risks ”, he began. “It’s a very solid team defensively and they concede few goals. That’s how he won the games when he suffered a little more than usual”, added the coach.
Real Madrid and Barcelona face each other on Sunday, starting at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Camp Nou. Visitors occupy second place in the Spanish Championship, with 56 points, nine less than the leaders, who will be their rivals in this round.
