“Striped elephant” for the little ones
Narva Central Library invites moms and dads to get acquainted with the series of books for kids “Striped Elephant”. What should be modern books for the little ones? Cozy reading before bed is great, but it’s even better when you can shake the book, jump around with it, or voice the characters yourself. In a word, not only read the story, but also play it with mom and dad.

Maryna Taranenko “Airplane Cat”
A story about a magical cat Max, cute and funny. He lives on a plane, knows all about moore-moore-lence and cloud sandwiches, and he also knows how to stop being afraid and make anything fun.

Valentina Degteva “Snails, go ahead!”
A book about a family of fast, fast snails was written in just a week. And everyday incidents served as inspiration. “My daughter brought snails to the house, and I have long wanted to write something about them. They have many cubs, so I associate them with a large family. My children are already quite old, but my friend is a mother of many children. And when we go to the park together (her three, my two), we are always late for something – we just got out, and it’s time to go to bed, it’s time to feed … And these two images successfully combined in the Ulitkins. It turned out very recognizable,” says the writer.

Ksenia Gorbunova “Kindergarten” Zubastik “”
There is just no one in the kindergarten “Zubastik”. Here is Yanka the monkey, and Platosha, the dragon boy, and Irishka, the bat girl, and even Ogorosh, the giant boy.
In the kindergarten “Critter”, as in any other, all children are very different, but they know how to make friends for real, so we can safely say that this book is about friendship.

Diana Ostroverkhova “Bee! Bo! Boo!”
Every night, a boy named Bob went to the Land of Sweet Dreams, where the sheep Bee, Bo, Boo and Bibidi were already waiting for him. By the way, here you can count sheep, knock, clap, play roles. You will meet the most greedy Baran Seventeenth Baron and go to the Land of Stolen Dreams, where you will meet the most mischievous and stupidest wolf. The wolf here is unusual – he is a vegetarian and he does not eat sheep, but avocados, and he dreams of being called that – Avocado. This is a modern fairy tale, which is great to read before going to bed, look at the pictures and pronounce repetitive phrases.

Anastasia Bezlyudnaya “Yellow Hen, Red Boots”
When you are little, even the most ordinary walk is full of amazing discoveries. So the yellow jacket in red boots went for a walk. In this story, you can jump in puddles and make friends with a worm, play with a mysterious repeater and collect pockets full of treasures.
