Strike in transport: metro, RER, TGV… traffic forecasts for this Monday, March 20

While the government has chosen to draw 49.3 to pass the pension reform, for lack of the assurance of an absolute majority, social anger continues on Monday, after a weekend of mobilization. Disruptions are still to be expected this Monday on the RER in particular, as on certain train lines. Le Parisien takes stock of the main disruptions.

Metro, buses and trams

The RATP plans normal traffic for Monday for the Paris metros, as well as on the bus and tram networks, as in recent days.

RER

RER A : normal traffic.

RER B : Plan 1 train out of 2 all day. Interconnection maintained at Paris Nord station, no change necessary.

RER C : on average 2 out of 3 trains.

RER D : 2 trains out of 5 on average, resumption of traffic between Châtelet les Halles and Paris Gare de Lyon.

RER E : 3 trains out of 4.

Transilien

Train traffic also remains disrupted on all lines except lines H and K.

Ligne H : normal traffic.

J-line : plan 2 trains 3.

K-line : service normal.

L-line : plan 2 out of 3 trains.

Line N : plan 2 out of 3 trains.

Ligne P : plan 3 out of 4 trains.

Ligne R : plan 2 trains out of 5 on average. Trains only run between Paris Gare de Lyon and Montargis/Montereau via Moret.

Ligne U : plan 1 train out of 3

TGV

Similarly, disruptions are to be noted on certain TGV lines. It will take 4 out of 5 trains on average on the TGV Inoui and Ouigo network. 2 TER out of 3 on national average,

TER

Regional trains will still be affected by the strike throughout the country. Count 2 out of 3 trains on average. “The details of the regional transport plans will be communicated by SNCF Voyageurs in each of the regions”, specifies the SNCF.

Intercities

Similarly, Intercités traffic is still disrupted by strike movements. For Friday, the SNCF plans 3 trains out of 5 on average. No night trains will run.
