A great victory, which keeps them alive in the battle to stay in the A’ ESCAVDE, was achieved by the Molossians, who prevailed with a score of 72-74 against Thrylos, in a game that developed – as expected – into a derby for strong nerves. Astraka BC also got a great victory, winning the indoor game of Limnopoula of Leota Corfu with a score of 66-53. This was the second victory over the Corfu team, who are also fighting for survival.
Molossoi and Astraka have reached 21 points and are tied for 4th place in the standings with Corfu, however they have only one game left, with the top two in the standings and will hardly reach above 22. On the other hand, Thrylos has 19 points and is in the penultimate position, however, he has two games ahead of him in Corfu, with Corfu and Leo, where he will try to achieve the ultimate.
Thrylos and Molossos went hand-in-hand throughout the first half, with the typically visiting Molossos taking a four-point lead at the end of the third quarter. A great battle took place in the last period with the Legend losing the victory through his hands. Lefteris Kosmas’ team led 72-71, having possession, with less than 1 minute remaining. However, the Molossians stole the ball with Tassos and hit an indirect three-pointer, making it 72-74, which was to be the final score.
Thrylos has strong complaints about the officiating, claiming that Tassos was fouled on the steal on Kyrannas, while Ioannidis was also fouled on the three-point shot he attempted in the final attack.
Leading for the winners were Zisis with 18 points, Makis with 17 and Tassos with 13, while for Thrylos Bazakas stood out with 17 points, Kyrannas with 15 and Skoubos with 12.

Astraka was determined to win and showed it from the beginning of the match. At halftime the difference was 13 points and its value rose to 18 in the middle of the third period. The Corfu team managed to reduce it to single digits, but the hosts controlled the game and took the valuable points of the victory over an opponent with the same goal.
