In Chennai today, 22 carat gold is selling at Rs.5,560 per gram and Rs.44,480 per gram. 24 carat gold is selling at Rs 6,065 per gram and Rs 48,520 per gram.
In Chennai, silver is selling at Rs 74 per gram and Rs 74,000 per kg. It has fallen by Rs.400 from yesterday’s price.

The rupee opened at Rs 82.48 against the US dollar and later fell to Rs 82.52. It further increased to Rs.82.48, which is now up by 11 paise.
