Former India selector MSK Prasad has said that Rahane’s selection to the India squad for the South Africa series was the right decision.
The Indian cricket team, which made history by winning the Test series 1-0 against New Zealand, is set to tour South Africa next.

As such, MSK Prasad, a former India captain and former chief selector who has been talking various things about the Test series between India and South Africa, said that Rahane’s inclusion in the Indian squad for the South Africa series was the right decision.
Commenting on this, MSK Prasad said, “Rahane has been playing very well in overseas series. Although he has not played big in the local series, he has been playing impeccably in the overseas series. Having senior players with young players can be beneficial for a team. Rahane will definitely play better in the series against South Africa. Rahane has played very well in all the overseas series. For me, the decision of the selectors to field Rahane was the right one. ”
