There are 3795 Kovid patients in the state today; 4308 disease-free

Kovid-19 was confirmed in 3795 people in the state today. 58,344 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) is 6 wards in 5 Local Government Areas above 10. There will be strict control here.

There are currently 1,61,939 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,57,425 are under home / institutional quarantine and 4,514 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 206 people were newly admitted to the hospital.
Currently, out of 38,583 Kovid cases, only 8.1 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.
Today it was confirmed that 50 deaths in the last few days were due to Kovid-19.

In addition, 195 deaths have been reported which have been appealed by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 42,824. Today, 14 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 3556 people were infected through contact. Source of contact 200 is not clear. Twenty-five health workers were affected by the disease.

Thiruvananthapuram 681, Ernakulam 543, Thrissur 445, Kozhikode 413, Kottayam 312, Kollam 310, Kannur 202, Malappuram 192, Pathanamthitta 146, Alappuzha 139, Idukki 132, Palakkad 110, Wayanad 91 and Kasaragod 79 were confirmed in the districts today.

Those who have recovered
4308 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 595, Kollam 249, Pathanamthitta 222, Alappuzha 141, Kottayam 370, Idukki 185, Ernakulam 768, Thrissur 389, Palakkad 14, Malappuram 209, Kozhikode 522, Wayanad 267, Kannur 309 and Kasaragod 68 were cured. With this, 38,583 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 51,08,764 have so far been freed from Kovid.
