The Indian team toured Bangladesh last year and played a 3-match ODI series and a 2-test series. In this, India lost the ODI series 1-2 and won the Test series 2-0. Shikhar Dhawan was included in the 3 ODI series against Bangladesh.
This was his last ODI match. Shikhar Dhawan was also not included in the series against Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Australia which toured India. However, he is the captain of the Punjab Kings team in the IPL series.
