The costumer in the Gilmore Girls series recently revealed in a TikTok video the identity of the mysterious father, a question that has occupied millions of fans of the series around the world since the Netflix revival aired in 2016. According to her, it is very clear – and it must not be the walkie-talkie.
The question of who is the father has occupied the fans of the mythological series since the last episode of “A Year in the Life”, at the end of which Rory tells her mother Lorelai the four words that were always meant to end the series – “Mom?”, “Yes?”, “I’m pregnant”.
The head dresser Valerie Campbell shared behind the scenes new details about the plot line of Rory Gilmore’s pregnancy, and among other things she revealed which of the candidates – Paul, Logan, Jess or the Walkie – is the “obvious choice” as the one who got Rory pregnant.

In a TikTok video posted on March 19, Valerie explained how fans simply had to “do the math” on Rory’s pregnancy timeline to find out who the baby’s father was. As she pointed out, Rory “definitely didn’t sleep with” Paul during the winter, as they weren’t actually dating at the time, so he can’t be the father.
Meanwhile, Rory’s fling with a man dressed as a Wookie took place in the spring season, meaning she was showing off her belly until the fall season when she revealed her pregnancy to Lorelai. “It’s definitely not the Wookiee,” Valerie remarked about what Rory wore in the last episode. “We never gave her a pregnant belly and we were never instructed to give her one.”
So who is the father? “The only obvious choice is – you guessed it – Logan,” said Valerie. “It should have been very, very, very, very clear.”

Later, Valerie added that series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino told the Logan actor about the pregnancy plot, which he continued to keep a secret. “I have to remind you about math!” Valerie said. “If it was Paul, she’d have a baby in the fall. If it was the Wookiee, she’d have a huge belly.”
And regarding the theories that Jess is the one who got Rory pregnant, even though they weren’t together during “A Year in the Life,” Valerie bluntly said: “It’s not a virginal conception.”
