A slightly different celebration: TV presenter Guy Zoertz is celebrating a particularly festive birthday today (Tuesday) – his 50th birthday. But at the same time, it is Zoertz’s first birthday since the death of his father, to whom he was very attached. The one who asked to celebrate the event was Zoertz’s wife, TV personality Yael Bar Zohar.

In the post she dedicated to her husband on Instagram, Bar Zohar celebrates her birthday but notes the complexity of today in the shadow of her mother-in-law’s death. “My love” she begins, “You already know everything I feel. After all, it’s the first time you have a birthday without father Ziggy who loved you so much and you him. He is still an inseparable part of you and continues to live in you and through you,” she writes to her husband.
