Brexit, the European Parliament has approved the agreement with London

With 660 votes in favor, 5 against and 32 abstentions, the European Parliament approved the trade and cooperation agreement between the European Union and the United Kingdom. The yes of the Eurochamber gives charge to the president, David Sassoli, to transmit the position of the Parliament to the Council and the Commission as well as to the Governments and Parliaments of the Member States and of the United Kingdom.

MEPs also discussed a resolution evaluating the agreement, in which they insist on its full implementation along with the Withdrawal Agreement, and underline the role that Parliament will have in the check the concrete application of the agreements.
