Protest of her beloved Godfather: Hundreds of demonstrators arrived this evening (Saturday) at the String Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem. Dozens of them tried to get off the road in the area, but were stopped by police. Following the protest, the entrance to the city was closed to vehicular traffic from the direction of Highway 1 and traffic is directed to alternative routes through the Cedars Tunnel. Police are asking drivers to refrain from reaching the area. Two hallucinations are in place.

During protests in the city about two weeks ago, three young men were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assaulting a policewoman. Dozens of protesters blocked the light rail track in central Jerusalem and disrupted train traffic. Later they set out in the direction of the String Bridge.
