The Heem.lu network has been targeted since February by an investigation by the Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office in a fraud case. The home care provider was accused by the CNS anti-fraud service of numerous billing irregularities for a loss of 2.5 million euros.

According to our colleagues from L’Essentiel, the 2nd chamber of the Luxembourg district court declared the bankruptcy of the two companies making up the home care network on Wednesday. This decision should allow the fifty employees to receive their final salaries, for the months of February and March, thanks to the Employment Fund. The takeover plan, once announced, would have fallen through according to Me Benoît Entringer, the lawyer for the leader in question.

He also indicated that he had applied for the provisional release of his client.
