ASUS now presents its new 40 series models based on the new architecture of NVIDIA: THERE’S LOVELACE . And it is on this occasion that the new STRIX RTX 4070Ti comes into our hands, which promises all the leap in performance, accompanied of course, by the ROG design.
The new one Asus ROG STRIX GEFORCE RTX 4070Ti It comes protected by the classic ROG aesthetic, although with a small redesign, but keeping the basic colors in red and black, showing its design on the front and its main features and technical specifications on the back.

As in every generation, ASUS renews the design of its video cards. And on this occasion it manages to surpass the impeccable design seen in the 30 series. Although it is true that it is now a much larger heatsink (which makes it necessary to have at least a Mid-Tower case), it is no less true that it achieves give elegance to something of this volume.
In the back we also see part of the redesign. With a larger, perforated backplate and ROG chrome details that combine very well with any system.
Put on its side we can see that at least we need to leave 4 slots in our case and motherboard to be able to accommodate the video card and also so that it has space to get the air it needs.
Also on the side is where we see the 12-pin connector characteristic of this new 40 series. Now, although it is true that power sources with this standard are just coming out, the manufacturer includes an adapter to be able to use it with current sources . (We recommend a minimum 850W Gold source)
An almost standard detail is the switch that offers us to use the 2 available BIOSes: Performance (Optimize performance and temperatures over noise) and Quiet (Lower noise and slightly higher temperatures).
On the back we find the detail of the Republic Of Gamers logo and also 2 4-pin connectors for fans. This in case we want to connect the front fans of the case so that the video controls them based on their temperature.
In terms of connectivity we find the classic: 3 Display Port 1.4 ports and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. And as we said, although it only has 2 slots, it is necessary to leave at least 4 so that everything can enter.
For the comparison we will use the average of the previous platforms that we have reviewed. On the component side we will use Kingston memories, SSD from WD, NVIDIA graphics card, and ASUS power supply. Everything is detailed below:

Something we can say about the new ROG STRIX RTX 4080 is that it is undoubtedly one of the most attractive in its line. Although it is not one of the cheapest for a price close to 1300 USD, it is well above its competitors, ASUS justifies that price with a heatsink and design that is just superior to its competitors.
Speaking of performance, it’s pretty good and is shaping up for the 1440p market or for those looking to play 1080p with everything maxed out so they don’t miss out on the latest titles.
If we had to summarize the review in just one sentence it would be: “If you can afford to buy this video, rest assured that you are getting the best in performance and design.”
