José Maria Enrique Negreira had a recognized permanent disability for which he received 1,240 euros per month since 1995. This is stated in a document to which laSexta has had access and which is included in the summary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
The disability had a “total” degree and was determined three years after his withdrawal from arbitration professional. For her he was entitled to a pension of 1,240 euros per month.
As recognized by the National Social Security Institute, the injuries that gave rise to this disability were vertebral injuries that led to neurological and various interventions.
In addition, the Disability Medical Assessment Unit admitted that he had suffered a head injury with sequelae of organic personality disorder. In a review of it in 2004, the National Social Security Institute determined that his injuries had worsened and urged a new review in 2006.
Negreira, therefore, would tend this disability recognized years before that FC Barcelona contracted his services, and he was still acting as vice-president of the Referees Committee.
