The young team and Guy Luzon are currently meeting the young team of Croatia, for the first of two friendly matches as part of the blue-whites’ preparation for the Junior Euros that will be held in Georgia this June.
Although Luzon’s cadets have not played together since just last November, in the last two friendly meetings the young side recorded a fine achievement of a draw and a win, when they beat Georgia 1:2 and finished with 1:1 against Ukraine.
On the other hand, the group from the Balkans that will try to beat Usher David and his friends, has a similar balance when Igor Bishchan’s students beat Poland 1:3 at home and finished with 1:1 against Austria.
In terms of past meetings, the two teams have never met in an official setting, so tonight there is an opportunity for Guy Luzon’s team to register a respectable achievement and beat Croatia for the first time.
