Thiruvananthapuram: The strike of PG doctors in medical colleges in the state has entered its third day. The Medical College Teachers’ Union also came out in solidarity with the strike.
House surgeons will go on strike in support of PG doctors. Doctors will boycott the OP ward and pre-scheduled surgeries tomorrow. Days after the start of the strike, talks have not yet taken place.
The government says the demands have been accepted and will not be discussed. Meanwhile, the recruitment process for non-academic junior doctors, which was a major demand of the strikers, will begin tomorrow.
