College Teams 20 Over Cricket Match: Akerson College Team Wins

On behalf of Thiruvallur District Cricket Association, the 20 over cricket tournament for college teams with the support of Meghna College started yesterday at the Meghna College campus in Magaral. In the opening match of this tournament in which 14 teams participated, SKR Engineering – Akerson College teams clashed.

SKR played first. The team was bundled out for 53 runs in 15.3 overs. Akerson College scored 54 runs for 2 wickets in 10.2 overs and won by 8 wickets.

In other games DJS. Engineering defeated Sindhu College by 3 wickets, Veltech defeated Jaya Engineering by 3 wickets, Nazareth College defeated Gojan by 9 wickets and L&G Bonneri defeated Mother Violet College by 8 wickets. This competition is going on till 28th.
