Nothing Ear (2) with improved battery life and audio, pre-sale availability

by time news

Nothing announced the Nothing Ear (2), the new model of the company’s wireless noise-canceling headphones. These offer, among other things, improved battery time, audio support and high audio diagnosis but at a higher price.

Like the first model, which was also the company’s first product, they offer the same transparent plastic design that has become a varnish identified with Nothing products. This time the touchpad is replaced by a click control in order to prevent wrong clicks and while they are equipped with the same size driver of 11.6 mm, the interior received an improved acoustic arrangement “with a double design that creates a larger space for smooth air flow and even clearer sound”, according to the company’s announcement .

The improvement in the audio quality of Nothing Ear (2) is also made thanks to the support for high definition audio (Hi-Res Audio) in 24 bits and LHDC 5.0 encoder. and by the ability to create a personal audio profile after performing a short audio test in the application for further personalization. There is also support for connecting two devices at the same time (Multi-Point) and thus you do not have to disconnect from listening to the music on the computer when a phone call comes in, an ability that did not exist in the previous models.

The Nothing Ear (2) has an active noise filtering capability and together with the charging case offer a total battery time of 36 hours of playing music without noise filtering – two hours more than the previous model. They support Clear Voice technology to eliminate noise in calls, water and dust resistance to the IP54 standard and the case to the IP55 standard and even support fast connection on Android and Windows computers. Owners of the Nothing Phone device will even benefit from improved integration between the products when the headphones can enter low latency mode automatically when playing a game.

The Nothing Ear (2) will arrive in stores around the world on March 30 at a price of NIS 589 (compared to the previous generation’s NIS 379), but are already available for pre-order on the Bug network at a sale price of NIS 529.
