Announcement from the Information Center for the Fight against Corona and the Ministry of Internal Security: Tightening the green mark enforcement starting today {Sunday)

Following the Prime Minister’s directive, the Israel Police is preparing for a significant tightening of green light enforcement. Enforcement will be intensified both by increasing surprise visits to businesses that require the green label and by refining the directive for police to ensure that entry to the business or cultural event is done using an up-to-date barcode only and not using printed certificates.

We would like to revisit and refresh the public with important information about the green sign:

Places where a green character is activated:

  • Cultural and sporting events
  • Conferences and exhibitions
  • Hotels
  • Gyms and studio and country club except for a pool located in it
  • Prayer houses for over 50 people
  • Banquet halls and gardens
  • Festivals
  • The enclosed seating area of ​​restaurants, bars dining rooms and cafes
  • Museums and libraries
  • Attractions and amusement parks located in the building
  • Universities and institutions of higher learning

Green card certificates are required for everyone:

  • Vaccinated
  • Recovering
  • Tested with a negative result

You can download a green card certificate in the “Ramzor” app, on the Ministry of Health website or on the Voice of Health (5400 *)

Green mark policy by age:
0-3 and children up to the age of 12 who present a disability certificate *: Exempt from presenting a green card
3-12: State-funded tests
12 and above: privately funded tests

Those who received two (the second vaccine is less than half a year old) or three vaccines, and one week after the last vaccine (Pfizer) or two weeks after the last vaccine (Modern) – are entitled to the green label.

Those who received only one vaccine are not eligible for a green mark, even if they received a positive result on a serological test after the vaccine.

Recovering – half a year from the date of recovery and after half a year who also received at least one vaccine (before or after recovery). Children up to the age of 12 and 3 months – even if six months have passed.

Non-vaccinated who want to issue a green card through a quick check

Those who received a negative result in the PCR test as part of the ‘Education Shield’ – are entitled to a weekly green mark, which will be valid until the end of the seventh day after the test, including the day of the test itself.

Adults and children who received a negative result on a quick test can present it to enter places that follow the green mark guidelines within the 24 hours after the test. You can display the QR code of the test itself at the entrance or turn it into a daily green mark by scanning the code in the traffic light app. At the entrance to higher education institutions, the staff and students are allowed to make one declaration per 84 hours
