Inauguration of special Thirumanjana Seva for Panchavadee Srivari Venkatachalapati

Puducherry: A special Thirumanjanam service has been started every Friday for Srivari Venkatasalapati Swami at Panchavadee Anjaneyar Temple.

The Panchavadee Shetram next to Puducherry is known as Madhya Tirupati. Srivari Venkatasalapati Swamy is enshrined in a separate shrine in the Panchamuga Anjaneya Swamy temple here. The Panchavadee temple management decided to start all the services including special Thirumanjanam every Friday for Srivari Venkatasalapati Swami, as is done in Tirupati. To begin with, yesterday (24th) morning at 5:00 AM, Tirumala Tirupati Chief Pattacharya Venugopal Deeksitalu inaugurated the Suprapatha service. Services like thomalai seva and archanai to Swami were done according to Vaikanasa Agama. Subsequently, a special thirumanjana seva to Srivari Venkatasalapati Swami was performed with auspicious offerings and Vedic recitation. After the Thirumanjanam, a specially prepared bouquet decorated with garlands touched with special fragrant flowers was offered to Swami. Devotees who wish to offer thirumanjanam to Srivari Venkatasalapati Swami every Friday and special services on Thursday, Friday and Saturday may approach Panchamuga Sri Aiyamaruti Seva Trust, it said.
