But the woman from England did not urinate for almost 14 months, i.e. more than a year. Although this is surprising to hear, it is a true story. Who is that girl?
Elle Adams, 30, was diagnosed with the condition in October 2020. Doctors call this Fowlers Syndrome. It is said that if this disease occurs, our body cannot empty the urine in the kidneys. This rare disease mostly affects young women. No matter how much water or other fluids Adams drank after the attack, he was unable to urinate.

How did it happen?
“I was very healthy. I have no other problem. When I woke up one morning, I couldn’t urinate. After a few days, the urge to urinate completely stopped,” shared Adams.
He decided to seek treatment at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Doctors conducted a thorough examination of his body and said Adamzim had one liter of urine in his bladder. A normal bladder holds only 500 ml of urine in women and 700 ml in men. But it was different for Adams. Even 1 liter of urine is amazing. A team of doctors worked to collect the urine through a tube.
A week after visiting the medical center for a kidney transplant, Adams was taught how to self-incubate urine and then sent home. Adams said he is now feeling a little relieved.
