Mats Länn, RLC commander, reported that they quickly responded with multiple resources upon discovering an injured man who had been stabbed multiple times in his upper body. The victim was alert and conversing as he was transported to the hospital. Though his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, the incident is still classified as an attempted murder. According to Mats Länn, both individuals were previously known to the police. The suspect was apprehended after the alarm was sounded at 1:30 p.m.
– We rushed out with several resources and on the spot we found the injured man, who had been stabbed several times in the upper body, says Mats Länn, RLC commander, to the newspaper.
The injured man was awake and talking when he was taken to hospital.
– The assessment is that it was not about life-threatening injuries, but it is still classified as attempted murder, says Mats Länn.
Both men are said to be known to the police from before. The arrested man was later arrested.
