Soundarya became a prominent actress in the 90s and 2000s in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Soundarya, who acted in many Tamil movies like “Arunachalam”, “Kathala Valdhana”, “Padayappa”, “Tavasi”, has been a favorite among Tamil cinema fans.
Unforeseen accident
In April 2004, when Soundarya was traveling with her brother from Bangalore to Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh, there was a sudden accident and the plane overturned. Soundarya, her brother and two other passengers were killed. This incident worried the film industry at that time.
Following the incident, an investigation into the accident began. Soundarya joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at that time. It was while Soundarya was traveling in a plane for election campaign that he met with an accident. Therefore, there were doubts that there were political reasons behind this. Also the quality of the aircraft was questionable. But after serious investigation it was found that these two reasons are not.
Tragedy by birds
After this, a fact came to light only after further investigation. That means there were many restaurants around the runway area from which the plane took off. A lot of birds come there to eat the wasted food in those restaurants. So when Soundarya’s plane started flying 100 feet above the ground, many birds flew there. This has been a hindrance to smooth sailing.
Pilots have tried to divert the birds. It was during that attempt that an unexpected accident occurred, according to reports. Soundarya was married to Raghu in 2003. Soundarya was two months pregnant when she died in the accident.
