After a number of extreme anti-Semitic threats and statements last year, singer Kanye West announced that he is “OK with Jews” again. In an Instagram post over the weekend, the anti-Semitic and mentally disturbed singer shared a promotional poster for “21 Jump Street,” a 2012 crime comedy starring the Jewish actor.
“Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump Street made me love Jews again,” he wrote. “No one should be angry at one or two people and turn it into hatred towards millions of innocent people.”
The current post was the anti-Semitic singer’s first on social media this year, after his accounts were blocked for anti-Semitic posts, including an appearance on a podcast by far-right activist Alex Jones, in which he praised Adolf Hitler and described himself as a Nazi.
The interview was widely condemned, and came several weeks after he and a Holocaust denier had lunch with former US President Donald Trump at a Florida resort. Kanye lost contracts with Adidas and other companies because of his anti-Semitic remarks.
The Anti-Defamation League recently reported dozens of anti-Semitic incidents related to the anti-Semitic singer in the US since he began threatening and inciting against Jews, including cases of assault and hate speech.
