According to a report on the Yeshiva World website, shortly before 23:00, an Audi vehicle that turned from Edward Avenue to Peninsula Avenue in the Woodmire neighborhood collided with a blue Dodge van in which Arlene Javier Aguilera was driving – who was driving while intoxicated.
Rescuers who were called to the scene provided primary medical care to five casualties, after which they were evacuated to a hospital.
Unfortunately, Liel Namdar, a 15-year-old girl from Great Nick, later died of her injuries.
In addition, Miriam Bat Yocheved, a 38-year-old woman, is hospitalized in a critical condition.
Two other Audi passengers remained hospitalized in stable condition. The occupants of the van were lightly injured.

According to a report by Yeshiva World, Arlene Javier Aguilera, 34, of West Hampstead, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder in a vehicle, assault of a second-degree vehicle and drunk driving.
