On the 8th, an army helicopter crashed in a dense forest called Vampire near the Wellington Training Center. A total of 13 people, including Commander-in-Chief of the Troops Pipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and 11 Army personnel, were killed in the accident. Group Captain Varun Singh, the only surviving member of the team, was rescued with 80% burns. He is currently undergoing intensive treatment at a hospital in Bangalore. And his health is said to be stable.
The Indian Air Force is conducting an intensive investigation into the accident, which is said to have been caused by heavy fog. An investigation team led by Air Marshal Manvendrasingh has camped in the area and is investigating. Tamil Nadu police are also investigating the case. ADSP Muthu Manikkam has been appointed as the Tamil Nadu Investigation Officer.
One of the videos went viral on social media with the sound of the helicopter flying in the sky and crashing shortly before the crash. It has been reported that the cell phone containing the video has been sent to the Coimbatore Forensic Laboratory as the video is considered to be the main source in the helicopter crash.

It has been reported that a letter has been written to the Chennai Meteorological Center regarding the weather conditions prevailing on the day of the incident. The military helicopter crash is being investigated by a variety of witnesses.
Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that the intensive investigation into the accident was held today for the 4th day under the leadership of a senior Air Force officer. Restrictions were imposed on outsiders entering the Nanjappa Chattram area where the accident took place and work was underway to collect parts of the helicopter.“
