Laughter doesn’t stop…
The person I was most close to, apart from being a close person in the film industry, has passed away, a person who, when there is a problem, is always by our side for a joke.
Innocent Chetan was a film actor who was very close to his father and more than that a friend. We were very close to Innocent Chetan’s family. Innocent Chettan was a person who used to come and comfort his father since he found out that he was sick, and told him as a joke how we should deal with this illness, and constantly asked him about his treatment during the three years that he was ill, and was in constant contact with him.
I have been lucky enough to speak directly with Innocent Chetan many times and to be in the group where Innocent Chetan speaks. When he talks, he relates everything to his hard life experiences and presents things very gently. I believe that this is one of the reasons why I was able to move forward without flinching when faced with great difficulties and crises in life. It is doubtful whether any other film actor can ask, say and answer with enthusiasm like Innocent Chetna.
Father has said in many interviews that the words of Innocent Chetan have given him strength to face the illness. When they were sick, the words of both of them were the energy for people with cancer to face the disease and move forward in life.
It is with the deepest sadness that this post is written. Because even after my father’s death, Innocent Chetan was someone who was with us with many comforting words, hiding his weaknesses. Innocent Chetan’s death After the death of my father, moments passed that made me feel a great sadness.
When talking about Innocent Chetan, one thing that should be mentioned is that if he had not been so active in the film industry, he would have been like Vaikom Muhammad Basheer or V.K. Like me, Innocent Chetan was someone who had to contribute to Malayalam literature with human stories or his own stories.
It is a fact that no Malayali above the age of 30 can go a day without remembering or telling the moments or jokes starring Innocent Chetan. When thinking about Innocent Chetan, every Malayali has that smiling face in their mind, that face will always be like that.
He was also a good political leader. Innocent dude. I was also there when my father announced the party’s decision to contest for the second time. Innocentetan said that I will fulfill the responsibility assigned by the party even if I am sick.
He was a good comrade.
Like all Malayalees, I, who know Innocent Chetan so closely, have suffered a loss. It’s not the same as what we say about everyone’s demise..
