It may be noted that a Hindu party and lawyer Mahendra Pratap Singh had filed an application in the court of the Civil Judge Senior Division to remove the Shahi Eidgah Masjid located on 13.37 acres of land of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. In this, the Civil Judge Senior Division first ordered the matter to be permanent. Against this order, the parties went to the court of the District Judge. From here the matter was sent to the court of AJ 6 for hearing. The matter was heard in the court of ADJ 6 and all the parties presented their views and presented their arguments. The court heard all the parties and reserved judgment on it. Last Saturday, the court gave its verdict on the matter and rejected the request of the Hindu side to conduct an Amin survey of the Shahi Eidgah Mosque. The Hindu side was very confident that the decision would go in its favour.
Mahendra Pratap Singh’s case which has already been dismissed by the court of AJ6.
