Shipwreck Esther Miracle/Bilie-By-Nze on the resignation of the Minister of Transport: “Monsieur Paillat is not guilty…”

The Prime Minister of Gabon, Alain-Claude Bilie-By-Nze, was on a trip to Paris (France) last week, at the invitation of the first network of entrepreneurs in France, the MEDEF (Mouvement des entreprises de France).
First international trip, since his appointment to this first rank responsibility, the one who was Minister of Energy and Hydraulic Resources in the recent past was awaited by the press. This, to collect his impressions following his appointment as first boss of the Gabonese administration, and especially to take stock of the hot issues of the moment, during an interview on the antennas of France 24 and the airwaves of RFI ( Radio France Internationale).
News obliges, the sinking of the ferry Esther Miracle launched hostilities. Referring to the resignation of the Minister of Transport, Brice-Constant Paillat, following this tragedy of March 9, whose current toll is heavy with 30 deaths and 07 missing out of the 161 passengers, the Gabonese Head of Government naturally aware of the investigation exonerated his now ex-minister: “Mr. Paillat is not guilty“. In the rest of his remarks, he argued his statements, as follows: “Political responsibility obliges, he resigned“.
In conclusion to the Prime Minister’s remarks, it should be noted that the investigation into the sinking is continuing. As highlighted by a publication by our colleagues from Gabonreview, she has so far pinned no less than 33 people. Among them, agents of the Merchant Navy, officials of the shipping company Royal Cost Marine and co.
