Central Gothenburg suspect in four unprovoked assaults: 35-year-old man

A series of unprovoked assaults occurred in central Gothenburg, in the areas of Majorna, Olskroken, and Linnéstaden, within the span of 98 minutes. Four men were beaten without any connection to the perpetrator. The suspect, a 35-year-old, claims that it was self-defense. The police reported on the incidents and provided an image depicting one of the assaults that occurred on a tram at Olskrok Square.

GothenburgIn the course of 98 minutes, four men were beaten in different places in central Gothenburg – in Majorna, in Olskroken and in Linnéstaden.
The assaults on January 24 were unprovoked and none of the victims had the slightest connection to the perpetrator.
– Self-defense, says the 35-year-old suspect.
