A man was arrested after shooting a passenger who demanded that he record her on the bus that was driving to the municipality of Moyuta, Jutiapa.
According to authorities of the National Civil Police (PNC), the man identified as Jacinto, 41, was captured by police officers from police station 13, near kilometer 10 of the route to El Salvador.
“At the moment the woman complained to the subject who was recording her with his cell phone, the man drew a firearm and attacked her, causing three injuries,” the police report details.
Municipal firefighters attended the emergency and provided first aid to the 24-year-old woman, who was transferred to a care center. Attention was also provided to passengers who suffered a nervous breakdown.
