The measure, according to the CEO of Twitter, also implies that only verified subscribers will be able to vote in the polls that are formulated in the popular social network.

Twitter profiles currently pay about $7 a month to get the blue tick on their accounts that guarantees that it is a verified profile and that it gives access to additional functions in the network.
