Teotitlán de Flores Magón, Oax., March 28, 2023.- Within the framework of the Meeting with municipal presidents of the Cañada region that was led this Tuesday in Teotitlán de Flores Magón, Governor Salomón Jara Cruz, the general director of the State Institute of Public Education of Oaxaca (IEEPO), Emilio Montero Pérez , personally attended the reception desk of the Educational Sector.
During this exercise of citizen participation, which was attended by presidents, municipal presidents and councilors of 34 municipalities in the region, in a team with the Secretary of Public Education (SEP) in the entity, Delfina Elizabeth Guzmán Díaz and heads of the areas of the Institute, listened to the needs of the authorities that make up this microregion.
As part of the work to revert the historical debt with the indigenous peoples of Oaxaca and with the objective of bringing the services of the various state agencies closer to the communities, a total of 22 direct attention tables for the municipal authorities were installed at the meeting. .
At the Education table, requests were received to improve the facilities of the educational establishments, furniture and equipment, among other requests from municipalities such as San Andrés Teotilalpam, Santiago Nacaltepec, San Miguel Santa Flor, San Mateo Yoloxochitlán, San Pedro Sochiapam, San Jerónimo Tecóatl , San Antonio Nanahuatipan and Eloxochitlán de Flores Magón.
During this citizen meeting, Montero Pérez directly attended to those who presented various requests made by municipal authorities, teachers, parents and inhabitants of the Cañada region and reiterated the priority of the State Mandatory in the transformation of education in the entity.
The requests and petitions received by the IEEPO were channeled to the various areas that make up this Institute for their prompt attention and response.
