Not Dhoni, Rohit or Kohli, he is the GOAT of the IPL; Anil Kumble with a big revelation

by time news

Indian cricket team legend Anil Kumble has shone in the Indian Premier League both as a player and as a coach. Anil was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team as a player and later coached the Punjab Kings franchise as well.

During this period, Kumble has seen many stars shine as part of the Indian Premier League. When asked who is the GOAT in IPL history, West Indies star Chris Gayle was chosen. Kumble says that nobody else can match Chris Gayle’s style and the impact he makes in a game.

“There are a lot of people in them; It’s hard to pick just one. One name I can think of is Gailin. The impact he has made in the IPL is a step ahead of other players. The team he has has nothing to fear.” Kumble said.

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli received a warm welcome when he arrived in the city for the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting on Friday. Cricketers AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle joined him at the RCB Unbox 2.0 for fans.

Chris Gayle spoke about his experience of running between the wickets with Virat Kohli in the Jio Cinema program “My Time with Virat”: “We had a good rapport. We understood each other well. Sometimes people say ‘Chris didn’t run between the wickets’. When I batted with Virat, I ran pretty smoothly. We have had nine (ten) 100-run partnerships, look at how many times we have scored two and three runs. I was the fastest runner between the wickets. Don’t get it twisted,” Gayle added.
