First film directed by Samudhirani:
This is the first Tamil film directed by director Samuthirakani. Venkat Prabhu, S.B.P. in the most important roles of the story. Saran and Meera Vasudevan acted. Samuthirakani continued to act in Balachander’s various serials. At one stage, Balachander introduced Samuthirakani in the film ‘Barthale Paravasam’ directed by him in 2001 saying ‘You are the first to act in the cinema, so I will make you act in the film first.
Samuthirakani’s first film:
Starring Madhavan, Sneha, Simran, Vivek and Vali, Samuthirakani will appear in a cameo as a patient who comes to doctor Vivek for hip pain treatment. After this film, he will appear in small scenes in films like Samuthirakani, Neranja Manasu, Poi, Paruthiveeran. It is noteworthy that after that he acted as a villain in Subramanyapuram.
