A meteorite could end humanity… What was said about the date of its collision with Earth?
A new scientific report revealed that the date of the fall of a huge meteorite approaching Earth, capable of destroying human civilization, is approaching, after accurate scientific calculations.
The scientific report said that the “clash” may cause the death of humanity as a result of a strike from outer space, which is one of the most famous doomsday scenarios.
The head of the Department of Nuclear Planetary Science at the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Igor Mitrofanov, said that in the future there will certainly be a collision with large asteroids, from which civilization will not escape.
Mitrofanov added, “The dinosaurs became extinct 66.5 million years ago, most likely due to a meteorite, and a similar event is likely to be repeated during the next 100 million years.”
