2. Amiad Center
The Dream Gallery, 800 square meters of concrete floor, huge columns and white walls. Every time I go in there to curate an exhibition I don’t want to leave (even though there is no Wi-Fi there. Ahem ahem, Tel Aviv Municipality). There I realized the tremendous potential of La Culture and where it can grow. And regardless, Avi and Noah who run the place are the cutest and most accommodating city employees there are.

3. POC coffee
An excellent place for coffee and casual meetings. In general, a place where you can see how Tel Avivians dress and behave. At the right time you can actually experience a kind of modeling runway on the street where the people sitting look at those who pass by and give hidden criticism with their eyes.

4. Gruzenberg parking lot
One of the secret observation points of Tel Aviv and also this place to show off to friends from abroad. Every time I visit Nachalat Binyamin or Grozenberg I go in, go up to the top floor and look at the whole city from the side of the parking lot railings.

5. Bichikalata
My Tel Aviv dinner, every visit, with a group of friends. Always light, always delicious and unlike most delicious places in the city, the waitresses are stunning.

6. Gelada Studio
A shop/studio specializing in illustration and design but much more than that. Yaron (the owner) organizes excellent music evenings there, small fairs, and minimal solo exhibitions of local illustrators. A place that is the essence of Tel Aviv to me.

Itai Blaish, designer and curator from Tel Aviv, currently lives on the line between Tel Aviv and Zurich, Switzerland. The curator and founder of the La-Colture initiative, the designer of Maccabiah 2025. La Coulture 2023 Bazaar will take place from Thursday-Saturday (30.3-1.4) in the Amiad center at the flea market
