In that vein, Xiaomi is launching its budget phone today (March 30). Redmi 12C smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. Priced below Rs 10,000, the phone is available on Amazon from today.

The Redmi 12C sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display. On the back, it has a 50MP primary sensor with support for 4-in-1 pixel binning with a QVGA depth sensor.
The Redmi 12C also features HDR and Night Mode. There is a fingerprint unlocking feature, a teardrop notch on the front and a 5MP selfie shooter.
Up to 6GB RAM version is available. According to Redmi, the phone offers up to 128GB of internal storage. However, users can further expand their internal storage using the microSD card slot that supports cards up to 1TB.
The Redmi 12C smartphone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. 5,000mAh and supports 10W charging. Currently this phone is launched in 4 colors. Available in Grey, Blue, Green and Purple colors. The Note 12i is said to rival the Motorola G13 phones.
