Leyde Rodríguez Hernández, Cuban ambassador to Serbia, insists on negotiating with the authorities a direct connection route between Havana and Belgrade, one of the destinations for which Cubans do not need a visa.

Local media affirm that the possibilities of this progress are quite great, and both cities could be connected, through Air Serbia with a direct flight.

In fact, Rodríguez Hernández has already discussed the issue with aeronautical authorities in that nation and has visited, in this regard, the executive director of the company, Jiri Marex, and also the general director of Trade and Strategy of Air Serbia, Bosko Rupic, who already know the idea of the connection between both cities.

The Caribbean diplomat also learned about the commercial interests of the airline and the Serbian tourism market.

A press release highlights that: “The two parties agreed to maintain communication on mutual interests and on the importance of creating safe conditions, as well as the capacities required for eventual direct flights, by tour operators in Serbia, towards the Cuban tourist market. ”.

Let’s remember that Cuban travelers can fly to Serbia without a visa, and stay as tourists for at least 90 days from entry, but they must have the invitation letter from a citizen of that country, where it is reflected that he will take care of the Cuban , from your arrival at the airport.
