News 24 | Precaution recommends avoiding travel to Guinea and Tanzania due to Marburg

The Public Health Authority (Weqaya) called for avoiding traveling to the United Republics of Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania until the outbreak of Marburg virus disease is under control.

The authority advised those present there to follow the preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health and the Public Health Authority, and to follow the instructions of the local health authorities.

An official source in the authority stated that this recommendation came based on what was announced by the health authorities in the two countries.
