HYDERABAD: A yellow ‘alert’ has been issued for some districts in Telangana due to unprecedented heatwave.

Many parts of the state of Telangana have been experiencing scorching heat for the past two weeks. In places like Hyderabad and Secunderabad here, the maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius has been recorded, so the school hours have been reduced recently.

In this case, yesterday was recorded as the hottest day of the year in Hyderabad as the maximum temperature soared.

Bignuar region here recorded the maximum temperature of 43.8 degrees Celsius yesterday.

In this case, the temperature will increase in many parts of the state, including Hyderabad, for a few more days, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

The statement issued in this regard reads as follows:

Telangana is likely to record a maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius till tomorrow.

Heat wave will prevail in Hyderabad city from tomorrow till the next day. Especially hot up to 40 degrees Celsius. A yellow alert has been issued for some districts of Telangana due to severe heat wave.
