BENGALURU – The People’s Representative Court has ordered the police to register a case against MLA Lingesh in the land misappropriation case.

Hassan District, Belur MJD, – MLA, Lingesh, 64. Head of Encroachment Regularization Committee in Belur taluk. Lingesh, 13 members of the committee have misused the powers contained in the Karnataka Land Revenue Act.

It was alleged that 2,750 acres of government land worth Rs 750 crore was given to 1,430 ineligible persons by preparing fake documents.
