Six people were killed in an attack by terrorists on a village in the Yatenga region, in northern Burkina Faso.
And Agence France-Presse quoted a security source in Burkina Faso as saying in a statement today: “More than 100 terrorists attacked the village of Kosuka in the Yatenga region, killing six people, including four soldiers, and causing losses among the terrorists,” noting that warplanes participated in the attack. The operation to track down the terrorists and killed about thirty of them while they were fleeing.
Since 2015, Burkina Faso has witnessed repeated terrorist attacks, which have resulted in thousands of deaths and injuries, and the displacement of about two million people from their homes.
