The International Congress of the Spanish Language ends its ninth edition

They have intervened in the closing session Isabel Rodríguez, Minister of Territorial Policy and spokesperson for the Government of Spain; Santiago Muñoz Machado, director of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) and president of the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (ASALE); Luis García Montero, director of the Cervantes Institute; José María González, mayor of Cádiz, and Carmen Pastor, general secretary of the IX CHILE.

In his speech, Santiago Muñoz Machado wanted to highlight the cooperation between the organizing institutions to carry out a meeting of such dimensions that has brought together more than 300 congressmen in record time due to the change of venue that made it necessary to move the celebration of the largest appointment with the Spanish language from the Peruvian city of Arequipa to the Andalusian Cádiz.
