Snake Catchers Receive Praise from Union Minister L. Murugan in Latest Tamil News

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Murugan lauded the Snake Catchers hailing from the Irular tribal community from Chennai. Two snake charmers, Masi Sadayan and Vadivel Gopal, were awarded the Padma Shri by the Central Government, which resulted in a lot of appreciation from various quarters. Murugan met both of them in person and congratulated them on April 1st. In a post on his social media page, Murugan stated that both Sadayan and Gopal had been awarded the Padma Shri for catching snakes that were a threat to people in America and saving thousands of lives. He also added that both families were grateful to Prime Minister Modi for the award.

Chennai: Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Murugan praised the Snake Catchers belonging to the Irular tribal community.

Snake charmers Masi Sadayan and Vadivel Gopal from the Irular tribal community have been awarded the Padma Shri by the Central Government. Subsequently, praises are pouring in for both of them from various quarters.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Murugan met both of them in person today (April 1) and congratulated them.

Masi Sadayan and Vadvel Gopal of Senneri Irular, Chengalpattu district, have been awarded the Padma Shri for traveling to America, catching snakes that were threatening people there and saving thousands of lives.
